Speed Mental Math Contest on May 20 (Sun)

In the written round, students will be given some number of computational problems (including addition/subtraction/multiplication) to be done in 5-10 mins with pencil and paper. From the written round, top 5 students will be selected to go into the verbal round. For the verbal round, students compete 1 by 1 where all students will be asked to pick a problem sheet, compute mentally, and answer them as we are timing it. All students will answer the same number of questions but the problems could be different (depending on which problem sheet they pick). Whoever could answer all problems correctly and the fastest will be the champion. Accuracy comes first then the speed.

Top 5 students from the “Written Rd” will advance to “Mental Verbal Rd”.

No calculator is allowed. Pencil or paper is not allowed in the “Mental Verbal” round.
